The Acasa Story

Founded in 2016 by Nineth Chinchilla, Acasa Food Truck was born from more than 20 years of restaurant industry experience and a lifelong dream of owning her own business.

What began with a rented food truck has grown into a thriving food truck and catering business serving customers throughout Southern California. From the beginning, Nineth focused on what matters most: authentic Mexican flavors, fresh ingredients, quality food, and an exceptional customer experience.

During Acasa's first two years, Nineth focused on building a loyal customer base, refining the menu, and earning a reputation for quality and service. As demand grew, Acasa expanded from its original rented truck to its own custom-built food trailer.

Catering soon became an important part of the Acasa story. It began when a loyal customer invited the team to cater a private event. The event was a success, leading to referrals, new opportunities, and growing demand. What started with a single catering event quickly became a major part of the business.

Today, Acasa Food Truck has grown into a busy catering operation capable of serving up to 10 events in a single day during peak season. Acasa goes beyond the traditional taco experience with authentic Mexican flavors, fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation, and attentive service for weddings, corporate events, birthdays, private parties, and other celebrations.

In 2023, Acasa reached another milestone by designing and building a larger custom food truck with additional kitchen space and improved efficiency. The expansion allowed the team to serve more customers and events while maintaining the quality and standards that have helped define the Acasa name.

Nearly a decade after its journey began, Acasa Food Truck continues to grow with the same dedication and passion that inspired it. From one rented truck to a growing custom-built fleet and thriving catering business, Acasa's story is built on hard work, perseverance, quality, and a commitment to making every meal and event memorable.
